The dialect word ‘Pépière’ (which means thirst, e.g. ‘avoir la pépiè’) had long been associated with his family land due to the presence of a well. Marc Ollivier’s wines more than match up to the promise of his land – they are clear, robust examples of granite-based Muscadet.

This is a very crisp, and clear expression of Muscadet that has a fresh spritz of lemon on nose and a creamy body to follow with lots of minerality. The classic pairing with oysters stands, but try it with ikan bilis or keropok too!
